Beijing is China’s second largest city after Shanghai with a population of over seventeen million people. The little town of Baldwin where we live has about three thousand, so to say we will experience culture shock is an understatement!
One of the things I know we will miss are the wide open spaces and the privacy. We will also miss our beautiful gardens which Paul has spent the past six years making and improving. Below is a video of some of the gardens which make it feel like our own private park.
good luck Paul i know you lke your gardens and garoge and tv.
dont know what your going to do all day without them all.
maby you should bring some movies with you.
then youl actualy know what thier saying
I am so happy for you both. It will be an awesome adventure and hopefully a place for friends / family from Canada to come to visit you.
Can’t wait to see your first impressions of Beijing.
Love, Judy

Hi Sharon,
Nice to hear from you. Yes we are doing very well thanks. I am going back to school tomorrow after a week’s holidays.
One of the big highlights of the break was our trip to the Great Wall.
I hope you enjoy reading the blog.
Take care.
