When I was passing through the school gate this morning I was greeted by four students who wished me a happy teachers’ day, since today is National teachers’ day in China. Then this afternoon at five I attended a ceremony to celebrate this special day. A professor Chen Lin from the Beijing Foreign Studies University spoke to teachers and presented awards. Students sang songs to honour teachers and other dignitaries spoke to an audience of over four hundred, all of whom teach at this school. I didn’t realize just how big this school is until I heard that number. Quite a huge school!

I can’t even imagine that many . My school has may be 210-215 students …. WOW you must have been in awe …
